The AU-11CA-4K from CYP is an Audio De-embedder and advanced HDMI Repeater with 4k ultra high resolution support in one simple, compact unit.

The device allows for the audio signal from a HDMI source (including 4K devices) to be split from the video and then inputted into a separate audio system (such as an external surround sound system). The unit offers both analogue and digital audio outputs. 
The CYP AU11CA4K includes advanced firmware which allows audio to be de-embedded without the need to connect the HDMI display (i.e. no sync-end required).

In addition, when this combined de-embedder / repeater is connected between your HDMI 4K source and display, it will provide additional amplification and equalization of the HDMI signal, adding up to 10 metres transmission distance either side of the unit at full 1080p.
