The Intellivox DC/DS500 is the flagship of the slim line Intellivox DDC and DDS ranges. With an array length in excess of 4m the Intellivox DC500/DS500 not only offers long throw capability but also greater control at lower frequencies. A single DC500/DS500 is capable of covering an area up to 70 m while maintaining an even sound pressure level. The thirty two, custom designed, 4” loudspeakers are driven by a sixteen channel class-D amplifier, powered by a sophisticated switched mode power supply, all of which combine to ensure years of reliable operation. An extensive set of surveillance functions have been implemented to meet the stringent demands of typical Voice Alarm (life safety) applications. The increased low-mid frequency control offered by the array makes the Intellivox DC500/DS500 suitable for easy and unobtrusive implementation in very large, highly reverberant and architecturally sensitive environments.
